RAYGILL is home to the

RAYGILL ASTRONOMY CLUB

We meet here on a Wednesday night once a

month and enjoy the heavens.

We have about 12 active members who all share a love

of the skies at night. We have seen the Aurora Borealis,

Planets, the moon (obviously) stars and satellites!

We are a friendly bunch of enthusiasts and welcome

all newcomers earthly and extraterrestrial!!

It is just £1 to come and this includes a hot drink.

The Cakey Pig Cafe began as "The Cakey Pig Snack Bar" in August of 1997 and was an old green takeaway van which I parked overlooking the Quarry Lake.
It lasted for 2.5 years when a storm in 2000 was so violent that it ripped the floor out and took the door up into the woods!!  But, on 1st December 2001 I opened the Cakey Pig Cafe in the brand new fishery lodge.
