We have a new resident at Raygill. He is the enemy of our caveman...
cave lion!!! Roooaaarrrrrr!!
He is over 3 metres long and 1.5 metres high. Keep your eyes open for him!
He is roaming around Raygill looking for his dinner! You can come and hunt for him from EASTER 2012.
Below are some pictures of him getting his coat on prior to setting off from the wilds of Halifax to come and live with us. He is the marvellous work of a new model maker from Halifax called Ben Coll. He painstakingly built and painted him especially for you to come and see.
This life size cave lion will be about 3m long (from nose to tail tip) and about 1.5 high!
he will take pride of place on the animal hunt.
picture above shows he has been covered in paper mache over a strong wooden framework.
the picture below shows him wearing his first coat of fibreglass. when he has had his second coat he will be painted .
this is going to be one big scary cave lion!!
